Volume & Average Quick Notes
Volume = L × B × H. Water level questions use the same formula, just working backwards. Average = total ÷ number of items.

V = length × breadth × height. All in the same unit.

Volume of water = base area × water height. Use this to find missing dimensions.

Average × number = total. If average changes, work with the total first.
⚠️ Common Mistakes
Don't fall into these traps
- ✕Mixing cm with m without converting
- ✕Forgetting that 1 litre = 1000 cm³
- ✕Averaging averages instead of totals
