1

Cuboid Volume

V = length Γ— breadth Γ— height. All in the same unit.

2

Water Level

Volume of water = base area Γ— water height. Use this to find missing dimensions.

3

Average

Average Γ— number = total. If average changes, work with the total first.

⚠️ Common Mistakes

Don't fall into these traps

  • βœ•Mixing cm with m without converting
  • βœ•Forgetting that 1 litre = 1000 cmΒ³
  • βœ•Averaging averages instead of totals
Teacher Hidayah's Tip
πŸ’‘

For every average question, write 'total = average Γ— number' first.
